Prerequisites Checklist

Before starting, ensure you have:

✅ Your hotel portal login credentials (email & password)

✅ Hotel logo file ready (PNG or JPG, under 2MB)

✅ Access to your Android display device

✅ Stable WiFi or ethernet connection

✅ 5 minutes of uninterrupted time

Step 1: Access Your Portal (1 minute)

Open your browser and go to: https://lobbyflight.com/portal

Enter your email address

Enter your password

Click "Sign In"

Trouble logging in?

Check caps lock is off

Use the email you registered with

Click "Forgot Password?" if needed

Step 2: Select Your Airport(s) (1 minute)

In the portal dashboard, click "Settings"

Find the "Airport Selection" section

Choose your airport(s):

- Quick Select: Click on popular airports (VIE, MUC, FRA, ZRH)

- Custom: Enter any IATA code (e.g., "JFK", "LHR")

- Multiple: Pro/Premium plans can select multiple airports

Click "Save Settings"

💡 Pro Tip: Not sure of your airport code? The most common are listed. For others, Google "airport code" + city name.

Step 3: Upload Logo & Set Colors (1 minute)

Upload Your Logo:

Click "Branding" in the portal menu

Click "Choose File" or drag your logo file

Wait for upload (usually 2-3 seconds)

Logo appears instantly in preview

Set Your Colors:

Primary Color: Click the color picker or enter hex code

Secondary Color: Choose your accent color

See live preview update

Click "Save Branding"

Requirements:

Logo: PNG with transparent background preferred

Size: Maximum 2MB

Colors: Any hex color (e.g., #0A2463)

Step 4: Get Your Display URL (30 seconds)

Click "Preview" in the portal menu

You'll see two options:

Option A: Copy URL

Click "Copy Display URL" button

URL is copied to clipboard

Example: https://lobbyflight.com/display/abc123

Option B: Scan QR Code

QR code is displayed on screen

Use your Android device camera

Automatically opens in browser

Save this URL! You'll use it on every display device.

Step 5: Open on Your Display (1.5 minutes)

On Your Android Display:

Open Chrome Browser

- Tap the Chrome icon

- If not installed, use any modern browser

Enter Your Display URL

- Tap the address bar

- Paste or type your display URL

- Press Enter/Go

Wait for Loading (5-10 seconds)

- Flight data loads

- Your branding appears

- Display starts rotating

Make It Permanent

- Tap menu (3 dots) in Chrome

- Select "Add to Home screen"

- Name it "LobbyFlight"

- Tap "Add"

✅ Verification Checklist

Your display is ready when you see:

✅ Your hotel name in the header

✅ Your logo (if uploaded)

✅ Current time and date

✅ Flight information (Departures/Arrivals)

✅ Your brand colors applied

✅ Automatic tab switching every 30 seconds

Congratulations! Your LobbyFlight display is now operational. It will:

Automatically refresh flight data every 5 minutes

Switch between departures and arrivals

Continue running 24/7

Work offline with cached data

Reconnect automatically if connection is lost
